The viral chef built a following by making impressively elaborate recipes from scratch, and in her video announcing the news, Smith promised fan favorites would appear in the pages
The cookbook — which will feature 80 recipes — is currently available for preorder ahead of its release date on October 13
Nara Smith is sharing her viral recipes with the world in a fresh, new format.
On Monday, April 20, the lifestyle creator announced her debut cookbook, Homemade, which is set to release on October 13. She shared the news with her millions of social media followers with a video that compiled clips of Smith cooking and setting out platters of food.
"You guys have been craving this, so I finally decided to make it from scratch," she began in her iconic voiceover style, referring to her famed tendency to make elaborate recipes from scratch, with the rawest possible ingredients.

The model continued to say that her collection of recipes combines foods she ate while growing up in Germany and meals she's cooked for her husband, Lucky Blue Smith, "that he begged me to write down." She added that the book also includes input from her online fans. "Of course I've seen your guys' comments and messages about recipes that you really have been wanting," said Smith.
"For the past two years, I tested everything over and over again, making sure that every minuscule detail is just right. I want you to be able to cook the recipes that I adore so much," the mom of four concluded. "I can't believe that after two years of writing and testing, I finally get to share it with you."

She unveiled the cover of the upcoming book, which sees the German-South African model wearing a pink gingham top that matches the tablecloth sprawled out beneath an array of foods in front of her.
Per a press release, Homemade will include the likes of a one-size-fits-all pasta dough recipe and a guide for making "Cinnamon Toast Squares," Smith's play on kids' breakfast cereal. Pork schnitzel will also feature in the pages, as an homage to her childhood comfort foods growing up in Europe, as well as Lucky Blue's recipe for oat chocolate chip cookies.

According to HarperCollins' official webpage for the cookbook, it will feature 80 "family-friendly" recipes and is currently available for preorder.
“This cookbook means the world to me. It holds the way I live and cook at home. It's about slowing down, making things with your hands, and finding whimsy in the everyday," Smith said in a quote featured on the publisher's site. "I've put together the recipes that I cherish so much and are things I either grew up eating or now serve to the people I love most. They're simple, from scratch, and meant to be made and shared often.”
