Jenna Bush Hager reveals she is not flattered by comparisons with her dad, ex-President George W. Bush. The 44-year-old interviewed her father and other ex-presidents for the History Channel’s History Talks program in Philadelphia. Bush-Hager playfully shut down her Today co-host over visual comparisons with her father.

Jenna Bush Hager doesn’t exactly feel happy with the comparisons to her dad, George Bush. Hager interviewed her father and former presidents Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Bill Clinton in Philadelphia for the History Channel’s History Talks program. The event was to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.

A portion of their conversation aired on the Today show on Monday, April 20. Hager’s co-host, Sheinelle Jones, couldn’t help but pull Hager’s leg a bit. Jones commented, “God, you guys look just alike, too. I know everybody says it, but dang.”

However, Hager wasn’t exactly flattered by visual comparisons with her father. She simply remarked, “I know, well sometimes that’s not a compliment, but I appreciate it,” giving the camera a pointed stare. This prompted Jones and the crew to laugh at Hager’s comments. The 44-year-old tried to do some damage control by stating, “Well, I think my dad’s handsome, but when people say that I’m like, ‘I look like a man?’” (via PEOPLE).

Hager’s co-host, Jones, tried to explain that kids wanted to look like their fathers so that people would know they were related. Hearing this, George Bush’s daughter simply commented, “OK, yeah, my dad is my father.” Hager also revealed some other tidbits about her father, who “likes to make funny jokes.” The 44-year-old commented, “He likes to make funny jokes, and he then started talking about when I got a minor in possession of alcohol, and I’m like, ‘Hey, Dad. That’s not what we’re talking about here, bro. Roll it back.’” More interviews with Hager and former U.S. presidents will air on the Today show on Tuesday, April 21.
